Africa med kit

Hey Ceci and Dave, I was thinking about your upcoming trip to Africa and was wondering if you guys were planning on bringing along a small "med kit". I'm sure that you're bringing along sunscreen and bugspray but thought that you might also want to bring along:
~Dramamine (some of those plans can be quite bumpy, and some non-drowsy Dramamine may help pass the time quicker)

~Lotion (all that traveling and possibly dusty conditions can certainly dry out your skin)

~Tylenol & Ibuprofen (one of the best fever reducers on the market, combine it with some Advil/Ibuprofen and you'll be sure to knock out sore joints and fevers quick)

~Benadryl (who knows qhat crazy allergins you might breath in on the plan, or crazy bug bites that you might have a reaction to)

~Baby powder

~Wet wipes (they'll help you freshen up when you're on the go, or when you haven't seen a shower before your talky blogs)

~lifesavers (quick sugar to give you and your breath a boost)

~instant hand sanitizer

~band-aids

I'm sure that you guys have gotten a list of stuff to bring from the organization that you're traveling with, but hopefully that will help in case it wasn't on your "to pack" list. I love you guys. Travel safe, can't wait to see the pics and hear the stories and see you guys when you come home safely.

Someone is growing

Ever since we got the good news yesterday, someone has been very excited and hasn't stopped bopping around. I thought that I'd attach a couple pics of how big my belly has gotten, or how much my shirts have shrunk in the last month. :) Can't wait to see everyone in a couple of weeks.

Fun in the Snow!

The girls and I had a great time sledding this morning - that is until we had to come inside...Sydney threw a HUGE FIT!! I could barely get her inside and get her snow clothes off. She ended up getting her mittens back on and tried her hardest to get her snowpants back on. It think she screamed for 25 minutes. I finally had to promise that we would go back out this afternoon.

Happy Birthday Dad.

I hope Patti Fogg doesn't call and grill me on how old you are, like she did with Mom (no clue on either account). Anyway, Happy Birthday.

Sid and Ral w/Ells at GMa's LaBarge

Last night Aunt Missy came over and "made" the little darlings fix, cook, and decorate a batch of cup cakes. They looked great and tasted even better (Sorry, only two left thanks to piggy Grandpa). As I am writing this, Raleigh and Sidney are getting baths from Jackie, with instructions to "splash away". I asked Raleigh at dinner if maybe she wasn't dirty enough to need a bath, but she assured me - "Grandpa, I am very dirty!" The girlies have been wonderful and very well behaved, the only exception being that they like to go to the top of the stairs, sit down, and go bump! bump! bump! all the way down, in tandem, like, forever.

Babies 6,7,& 8

Babies #6, #7, and #8 are no longer frozen! All of them survived the thaw which is great. The middle one is in the best shape and the other 2 are fine but not as strong as the middle one (which James already thinks must be a boy). So, I am on bedrest through Friday. We are praying that all 3 make it but we will be thrilled with 1 or 2 as well. Thanks for your prayers! I won't know anything for a few weeks.

Christmas photo dump

I thought that everyone might like to see some pics from Christmas this year. Sorry for the delay in posting them. My personal favorite is Ben's self-portrait. :)
