N.I.M.B.Y.

Okay - I have the answer to everyone's MOLE problem...the neighbors may not like it..the moles will not like it...and it only takes 4 DD batteries -- it is the MOLE CHASER!! I am serious...this will work (we hope)...or at least when they are installed in our yard in the dark of the night, we are hoping to see many mole trails headed straight to the neighbors yard (sorry Barb). This interesting looking object sends out a high-pitched sound that drives the Moles CRAZY!! We'll keep everyone updated. It is either this or the traps and frankly, I think those moles are so ugly that I don't even want to see them dead in the trap.

Moles, hear this -- Not In My Back Yard!!

F.Y.I.
Years ago I was at grounds maintanence show, saw that item at a booth, brought one back, thought I would test it and if it worked, then maybe distribute them. Seems at that time that it had a range of about 20 square feet, so at out big house we would have needed about 100 of them. Put it in the ground and couldn't tell if it was working or not, although Missy's hair became very frizzy then and her finger would spark when she touched any appliance, so maybe there is something to it. Think we might still have it somewhere in the garage.

Let me know if it works Carrie. I'm fed up with the moles. I've been using the trap, and it has fired 3 times, but I never saw a dead mole. I've also tried this mole repellant and I think that worked because the mole moved to a different area of the yard. The last thing I used was grub-x, which kills the grubs in the yard, which is the main source of food for the moles. After all of this hopefully the mole will be gone or dead.

On the positive side I haven't been seeing any more mole runs or holes, so maybe the mole is giving up, or better yet, maybe he is DEAD!!!

Sincerely;
The Mole Hunter (aka Dave)

Oh that's what happened to my hair. I used to have georgous hair- and now I have to use anti-frizz product. I'm sending the bill to dad!

Missy, maybe if we reverse the polarity on Carrie's Nimby and you take a nap on her back porch . . .

Okay, so I installed the Mole Chasers in the yard today (or at least I tried...) I pulled out the end and put in 4 D batteries and the thing starts ticking at me every 10 seconds. I felt like I was holding a bomb. So I tired to dig them into the ground and of course I couldn't dig deep enough so James had to help when he got home. I read the bomb instructions and it said they work best in clay (guess I'm glad we have clay) and worst in sand. So...in 7-14 days...the moles better have found a new home in Barb's yard.
