Soccer Anyone? Pumpkin Picking Too?

Well, another soccer season is well underway for the La Barges. We have been having a ton of fun watching all three play. Brendan's team is undefeated. They really are fun to watch. Finally, he got on a team with some talented kids. He is back on a full size soccer field which also helps him. Dugan's team has won 1 and lost 3. His team is also good, but their coach doesn't tell the boys what to do when the game is going on. Loud mouth Ben (the assistant coach for Dugan's team) yells along the sideline for the first 3 quarters of the games. Just to explain a bit further, Ben has to leave after the third quarter to get to Brendan's game on time. Last week, he said, "I bet some people want me to be quiet!" and a lady looked his way in agreement but another parent said, "no, you need to tell the kids what to do out there!" Daphne's practices have gone well. The first one she cried when the "shark" kicked her ball out first. We later played a family game of Sharks and Minnows and she seems to understand how the game works now. The next week, she was one of the last kids with her ball. If anyone wants to take in some soccer, Dugan's games are on Saturdays and 11:00am and Brendan's are also on Saturday, but at 12:00pm. We'd love to have you anytime.

Also, is anyone interested in visiting Jean, Jean the Pumpkin Man this year? It is his 50th year of doing this!!!! Let me know. Saturdays work after 1:30pm and I am not sure if he is open on Sundays or not.

Enjoy the future World Cup Players' Pictures!!!

Brendan is in the navy blue uniform going after the ball.

Dugan is in bright green with the ball.

Gene the Pumpkin Man is older than dirt - we would be glad to come for a visit. Raleigh has already asked about the place with the Cinderella Carriage (can you tell that is all she thinks about!)
